PIA National has named The Motorists Insurance Group as the recipient of its prestigious 2008 Company Award of Excellence. The award was presented September 20, 2008 during a ceremony in Austin, Texas held in conjunction with a national PIA board of directors meeting. The annual PIA National Company Award of Excellence honors companies for their commitment to PIA, to the American Agency System, and to furthering the interests of professional insurance agents by creating a better business environment.

“The Motorists Insurance Group demonstrates its commitment to independent agents in everything it does,” said PIA National President Robert P. Page, who presented the award. “Motorists works hard to develop strong relationships with independent insurance agents. The company truly values the personal service and counsel that agents offer their policyholders. And Motorists does business where we do business: on Main Street, USA.”
