PIA National Issues Call for Award Nominations

Company, MGA and Company Rep awards to be presented

Nominations are being accepted through July 24, 2008 for the 2008 PIA National Company Award of Excellence, Company Representative of the Year and Managing General Agency of the Year awards.

Nominations for the Company Award of Excellence and the Managing General Agency of the Year awards are made by individual PIA members, as well as by PIA state and regional affiliate associations. Nominations for Company Representative of the Year are made by PIA state and regional affiliate associations. In states that do not have a PIA affiliate, PIA members may submit nominations for the Company Representative of the Year award.

All three awards will be presented during a luncheon ceremony on September 20, 2008, held in conjunction with the association’s fall 2008 meetings in Austin, Texas.

PIA’s three other major national awards — the Professional Agent of the Year, Customer Service Representative of the Year and Young Insurance Professional of the Year — will be presented in April 2009 in Washington, D.C., in conjunction with the annual PIA Federal Legislative Summit.
