Login Problems (for members who have a username & password but cannot login)

Where do I login?
Most password-protected pages are located throughout the site based upon the topic. You'll be asked to login when you attempt to access these pages. The Members Only section provides additional resources and access to each member's personalized MyPIANET page. The Members Only button can be found at the top of the page.

Who can get a PIANET password?
1. PIA National members (and their coworkers once the actual member inputs coworkers' email addresses and last names in his/her "MyPIANET - My Employees" member-only profile);
2. PIA affiliate association staff;
3. PIA Partnership representatives have limited access to materials pertaining to The PIA Partnership;

***WHAT'S MY USERNAME?***
PIA National members and PIA affiliate association staff: Your username is initially set to your 4-8 digit PIA National member ID#. Here's how you find out what your ID# is:

  1. Your ID# can be found on the mailing label of PIA Connection above your name.
  2. Click here to have your ID# (or your current username and password) instantly emailed to you if you think PIA National already has your email address on file.
  3. If you don’t know your ID# and don't think your email address is in our system, click here and a staff member will provide it to you. You may change your username on your "MyPIANET - My Profile" member-only page.

Member coworkers: Your username is your email address. (The actual PIA National member in your agency must first login and create a profile for you on his/her "MyPIANET - My Employees" member-only page.)

***WHAT'S MY PASSWORD?***
PIA National members and PIA affiliate association staff: Initially it is your last name, but it can be changed on your "MyPIANET - My Profile" member-only page.

Member coworkers: The PIA National member in your agency who created your PIANET profile created your password and can change it for you on his/her "MyPIANET - My Employees"  member-only page.

I forgot my password.
Click here and enter the email address in your PIANET profile in the box provided and your login credentials will be emailed to you instantly.

I’m having problems logging in.

I have a user name & password for my local PIA affiliate’s web site. Will that work on PIANET?
The two web sites do not share user names and passwords.

My agency is a PIA member, can all of our principals and staff members get a user name and password?
Yes. However, PIA National is an individual membership organization. Once the individual who is a PIA National member has logged in, he/she can go to the My Employees section of  MyPIANET (accessible via the Members Only section or the link at the bottom of each page) and create profiles for any and all agency employees. These employees will have member access as long as the individual’s PIA National membership is current. Learn how to do this

Why should I login?
Logging in to PIANET provides PIA members and affiliate staff with access to password-protected pages located throughout the site. Login is required to make online contributions to PIAPAC.

Logging in also enables you to access the Members Only section and your customizable MyPIANET page where you can:

  • Manage your profile and make address changes;
  • Create PIANET login profiles for your coworkers (Learn how);
  • Organize information that’s important to you;

Is there a "PIA Members Section"?
Most password-protected pages are located throughout the site based upon the topic. There is a Members Only section which provides additional resources and access to each member's personalized MyPIANET page.

Who can access the "PIA Volunteer Leadership & Affiliate Staff" section?
Access is limited to:

  • PIA National directors and committee members
  • PIA affiliate presidents and presidents-elect
  • PIA National past presidents
  • PIA National and affiliate staff
