PIA’s Pile Testifies on NIPR Producer Licensing During House Financial Services Committee Hearing

Donna L. Pile, CIC, CPIW, CPIA, the Immediate Past President of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents, testified on April 16, 2008 before the House Financial Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government Sponsored Enterprises.

Subcommittee Chairman Paul E. Kanjorski (D-PA) called the hearing, entitled Examining Proposals on Insurance Regulatory Reform, to examine a variety of state and federal proposals to address insurance regulatory reform. At the request of Chairman Kanjorski, Pile addressed the topic of insurance producer licensing through the National Insurance Producers Registry (NIPR).
